"California Consumer Privacy Act: A Primer on the New Law"
California passed a far-reaching privacy law that takes effect on January 1, 2020. For example, when a Missouri company collects email and other contact information for AP personnel who work in the California office of a third-party supplier. This session will provide a primer on the new law and the status of proposed amendments making their way through the California legislature.
